Retail Store Manager

In this position, you'll be responsible for promoting the organization's offerings to potential buyers and establishing strong relationships with clients.

As part of your responsibilities, you will be in charge of ensuring safety, enhancing customer experience, managing operations, achieving financial goals, and overseeing human resources. Alongside delivering results and guiding company strategies, you will prioritize outstanding leadership, exceptional customer service, and streamlined daily business operations. The Store Leader is responsible for upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values within the store, effectively representing the brand. Our focus is on creating a positive culture and associate experience, promoting teamwork, professional development, and a genuine love for pets.

Qualifications:

• Passion for pets and people and the desire to grow a fulfilling career
• 4-6 years of retail leadership or experience in a customer-focused environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communications.
• Applicants must be over the age of 18 (except in Montana or where otherwise required by local or state law)

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining statistical and financial records. dealing with customer queries and complaints.
• Overseeing pricing and stock control.
• Maximising profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff to do so.
• Manage store budget, including payroll.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Oversee daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
