Class A CDL Driver

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a professional attitude. As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive a tractor-trailer, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure the safety of the driver, cargo, and other road users.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, using GPS or other navigation tools as needed.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo in the trailer using appropriate methods to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Monitor vehicle performance and report any issues or required maintenance to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as adding oil, coolant, or other fluids as needed.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and presentable at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Endorsements (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples) may be required depending on the specific job.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Class A CDL driver (preferred).
• Experience with long-haul or regional routes is a plus.
• Ability to perform tasks that require physical exertion, including climbing in and out of the truck, bending, and walking.
