Caregiver

By providing each client with individualized attention and care, you will be an integral part of our team's mission to improve their quality of life.

Important Job Duties:

• Aides with personal hygiene, clothing, and food preparation in addition to providing compassionate care and support with other activities of daily life.
• Provide clients with friendship and emotional support while creating a supportive atmosphere.
• Keep clients safe by keeping tabs on their health, giving them medication as directed, and communicating with other medical staff as needed.
• Keep clients' living spaces clean and pleasant by helping with modest household tasks like laundry and cleaning.
• To improve one's emotional and physical health, one should: Make it easier to participate in leisure activities and social gatherings.
• Make sure all relevant staff are informed of any major changes in the care, condition, or progress of clients by keeping accurate records.
  

Skill Criteria:

• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Documented history of working in healthcare in a caregiving capacity or a related field.
• Familiarity with fundamental cleanliness and medical practices.
• A calm and collected attitude, with a heartfelt desire to provide a helping hand to others going through tough times.
• Current or intending first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
• Have a spotless driving record and be able to pass a background check.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication; adept at establishing rapport with patients and their loved ones.

Requirements:

• Completion of high school or its equivalent; further education in healthcare or a closely connected area is an asset.
• Preferred candidates will have relevant work experience in healthcare, including nursing, caregiving, or a related field.
